I left the “Studio Duplex” at 7:30. Ready for an easy ride to the Caen Port. The SatNav played ball most of the way - it threw a bit of a wobbler on the way , but we overcame her temper.
Arrived at the Caen Port in good time - as usual I got pulled over for a quick search and an XRay of the bags. Then I joined the queue to board just in time for heavy rain and high winds. Got soaked for an hour.
I am now on board, got a seat, a sandwich and a cup of tea. It’s stopped raining, the sun is shining and it looks reasonably calm - so far!
Well that’s about it for this trip - Endex is declared. Approx 4,600 miles ridden without a problem - except for that rear puncture in ‘wherever’ it was.
