| A pensive moment from Motocamp Bulgaria. |
I just could not resist the call of an early start. The sun was up and breakfast was calling - the supermarket next door does cooked from 7am - so in I go.
It looks like it rained over night so the air was fresh but it was already getting hot.
It was a short run to the Croatian border but only one booth working - I took my chance and rode nearly to the front ! - it still took about an hour to get through…. Then virtually empty roads for miles heading towards Zagreb… then a bit of a tolled motorway until turning west and heading for Ljubljana. Another border crossing into Slovenia - free passage and no stopping.
There were many sets of roadworks on the way to the Eco River Campsite at Globoko. There was lots of camping spaces but no vehicles on the grass : wheel barrows provided!
Tomorrow I will be heading to a campsite in Landeck in Austria (I think!). So many border crossings! despite already joining the EES system they still need to take more photos of me!!!!
Right - it must be time for food and a beer!! Just the one Mrs Wembley !!!
